''The Sunday Times'' Sportswomen of the Year Awards are an awards ceremony that take place annually, organised by ''The Sunday Times'' newspaper. Established in 1988 by the then Editor, Andrew Neil, the Awards are a recognition of the tremendous contribution made by Britain’s most prominent sportswomen.
